About Camp
Every year at Hollyfast Meadows we host our annual
summer camp, 2008 saw the 10th aniversary of this event.
Hollyfast Meadows Summer Camp is a five day residential
equine experience held during the school's summer holiday
period and is packed with a mixture of riding, tuition
and other fun activities.
Monday 13th August to Friday 17th August.
Activities include:
- Riding (Schooling, Jumping, Gymkhana, Dressage,
Hacking, Showing and Cross Country)
- Stable Management and Tack Cleaning
- Talks and Demonstrations
- Games and Quizzes
- Barbeque and Disco Night
Campers are put into riding groups based on their
ability and into duty groups with a team leader. A competition
is held during the week to see which duty group can
get the most points for the duties they are assigned
on a daily basis. Prizes are awarded at the end of camp
presentation on the Friday afternoon.

Regulations and Booking Information
Summer Camp is supervised by an experienced team of
riding instructors and other staff who ensure the smooth
running of the event. All staff are CRB checked and
there is always a first aider on site. Canvas accomodation
(tents), catering, activities and entertainment are
all provided and campers may bring their own horses
or use one of the Hollyfast horses for the week.
Due to insurance regulations we are unable to offer
the camp on a residential basis to anyone under the
age of eight. However, we are able to offer the camp
on a day camper basis for children aged seven and below
who wish to take part.
Spaces are limited so early booking is advisable, please
